After Sadie passed away, we decided to start the Utah chapter of "The Cure Starts Now". This foundation was started not long ago in Cincinnati by the parents of a little gal named Elena, who fought the same tumor as Sadie. It is dedicated to raising funds necessary for research and an eventual cure.

A book titled "Notes Left Behind" shares of little Elena Desserich's fight. It ended up being a New York Times bestseller! We are proud of the Desserich family for sharing their story, and are grateful for the funds and awareness this book has raised for the foundation.
